G3valeting were contacted by the client as we had detailed his previous car a bmw 530d and applied a ceramic coating Liquid elements shield 9h to be precise and he wished for his new acquisition a gorgeous mamba black audi rs5 to have the same treatment.
The usual procedures applied ....
pre wash with krystal kleen detail blizzard.
Rinsed and washed with mitchell and king spa shampoo and rinsed.
krystal kleen ferrum applied to all exterior surfaces including wheels to remove sintered iron fallout and brake dust etc and rinsed .
Clay barred with bilt hamber soft clay and kkd mistx as lube.
rinsed and dried with mf towels.
The car was then machine polished 2 stage in places with scholl s20 black and liquid elements deep ice to remove moderate swirling and localised paint correction carried out to remove dealer inflicted marks.
The car was then wiped down with ipa to remove polishing oils .
Then two coats of liquid elements eco shield ceramic coating applied to all exterior surfaces inc wheels and topped off with approved detailer only reactor 2 coats.
Tyres dressed with kkd tyresol and glass sealed with wolfs glass guard 3 coats.
G3valeting were informed by an existing client that they had purchased a new car a Mclaren 650 s and could we possibly detail the car as the client was not entirely happy with the dealership preparation of the vehicle , well needless to say i jumped at the chance.
On arrival the car seemed in excellent condition but closer inspection revealed some light marring and swirling and a few fingerprint marks and left over protective covering sticky residue .
First up was a pre wash with krystal kleen detail blizzard shampoo left to dwell and rinsed off.
The car was then treated to a bath with mitchell and king spa shampoo 2 bucket method .
Then it was time to apply a fallout remover to remove any sintered iron particles that may have stuck to the paintwork or wheels with krystal kleen details ferrum .
The car was rinsed and re washed and clay barred with bilt hamber fine clay to remove any remaining contaminants and dried.
Next up was a single stage machine polish with mitchell and king pure to remove the light swirling and cleanse the paint and apply alot of gloss to the paintwork.
The car was then finished with 2 coats of mitchell and king aztec wax for outstanding gloss.
Glass was sealed with m&k vision tyres dressed with kkd tyresol wheels sealed with gtechniq c2v3 x2 .
The interior was given the quick once over with protective dressings kkd fabritect for leather seats and upholstery and mitchell and king treat for the plastics.
