Audi S3 New Car Protection Detail - Mobile Car Detailing Bridport G3Valeting


G3Valeting were contacted by the client around six weeks ago to carry out  one of our New Car Protection Packages on their new Panther black Audi S3 Quattro. 
It was decided that it would have our new car protection plus which is a full interior and exterior protection package using Gtechniq products.


At this point i would like to say that the car had very little in the way of paintwork defects a few holograms from the machining in the factory production line i would imagine but the dealership where this car was bought from Audi Exeter had done a very good job in preparing the car. 
The car went through our usual processes of snowfoam to remove loose dirt, rinsed de-contaminated with Angelwax revelation to remove fallout ie carbon deposits - brake dust-  iron particles etc of which there were minimal amounts, rinsed again and washed with mitchell and king spa shampoo rinsed and clayed to remove if any , remaining fallout and dealership wax in preparation for the polishing stage and subsequent coatings.


After being dried the car was taken inside and machine polished to remove some light swirling and any marring caused by the claying stage but tbh it was very minimal.
Polishes used were Autobrights new range of polishes for the rotary called R1 R2 R3 on this occasion only R3 was needed as it is a finishing polish designed to remove light marring and holograms and leaves a wet look finish with gloss in abundance.
After this was done i wiped down the car using ipa not the beer kind but isopropyl alcohol this removes polish residue and leaves the purest finish. Gtechniq C1 was applied to all paintwork and left to cure overnight whilst this was curing i vacuumed the interior and protected the leather and fabrics with Gtechniq i1 and L1 for leather and cleaned interior glass and dressed all interior plastics. 
The next morning was applying 3 coats of Gtechniq c2v3 to add gloss and extra protection, dress tyres and apply glass sealant and wheel sealant , job done .
